It's Official: Diablo 3 ANNOUNCED!

If you check the Blizzard site today, all your hopes and dreams of a Diablo 3 have been CONFIRMED! Today Blizzard announced at WWI that the new mystery title would indeed be Diablo 3. If you check out www.blizzard.com/diablo3 you will find a wealth of information on the new game already accumulating. And just to entice your appetite, here is the official trailer:

Don't like the characters they have so far, the ones from 2 are better. I like Warcraft better than Diablo though.

I actually heard a while back that Blizzard got the licenses or whatever they'd need to develop for consoles and with consoles being more like PCs these days, it is a possibility...

But that's all speculation. ::shrug:: So far Blizzard has stuck to PC games.

no doubt... as with most series'......... well except games like Final Fantasy, which aren't really series' cause the games have nearly nothing in common other than the first two words in the title... although if you go to the diablo3 website, they have a "Cains Journal" section that recounts the main events of the previous games...

Hell yea, all pun intended. I dont see why developers never make console games that require a mouse and keyboard; PS3 and 360 have usb ports. No clue about Wii but I never really cared about that system. Either way, Diablo FTW!

I wonder how sales for this title will be affected by the rampant use of CPU game piracy? It's quite rare to see PC only titles that are big sellers these days, since it's so easy to steal.

To me it would seem essential that they would have to put it on the consoles just to help make money, right?

i think they might try to bring D3 to console, i heard a little bleep about maybe doing 360. This has not been proven in any way just something floating around forums.

But overall i dont think you will need a badass computer to run this game. like said before to those of you who are woried.
