The Buzz:
-Will Gears have player Co-Op or not? That is the question on everyone's mind. Some reports say that Cliffy has confirmed it while other reports say Microsoft says there is no confirmation.
Microsoft says:
"We have not confirmed the number of players in the Gears of War 2 co-op campaign mode. Cliff's remarks in a recent GameSpot interview are being misconstrued."

So far Epic has been a company that is certainly listening to what the people want. We have already seen countless improvements for the GoW2. I think having 4 player Co-op would make this game beyond amazing. I really hope they confirm it. But even if they deny rumors and it turns out 4 player Co-Op will be left out of this one it will still be the most highly anticipated game for me.
-Sure America's economy isn't doing too well but that doesn't mean the video game industry will be effected. U.s. Sales of Video Games have jumped 47% from last April. You have the mainstream Wii and record breaking game GTA4 to thank. Despite this impressive jump in sales Sony and Microsoft expected more sales with their consoles.

Announcements: -EA announces Hasbro Family Game Night. It will come out this fall on the Wii and the PS2. It is also confirmed that Mr. Potato head will be the host of the game. The game will include classic Hasbro games such as: Connect Four, Boggle, and Battleship. Via Family Friendly Gaming.com
-EA is on a roll this week. They have also announced MySims Kingdom to be released on the Wii and DS this fall.
-Sony has announced their line up for the rest of the year. click
-Nintendo confirms Final Fantasy Tactics 2 will be debut on June 27th. The game, created by Square Enix, will be an RPG on the DS. The game will have improved turn-based gameplay, and better graphics.

Comments

I just read the reviews for Haze(PS3)and...damn. Looks like a price cut is coming very soon.

I'm gonna wait until Metal Gear Solid 4 is released by then the price cut should have kicked in for Haze. The only reason I want to play it is because my cousin wants to play with me online, but I'm not paying $60 for a mediocre game.
