Attention all Xbox 360 Cheaters!!

For all those Xbox 360 cheaters out there, you better watch out. Since mid-March Microsoft has implemented its Gamerscore Correction program. The whole reason for this program is to stop cheaters from getting high achievement scores.

Gamerscore Correction uses different areas to look for abnormal achievement and gamerscore activity. Gamers agree to a Terms of Use when they sign up for Xbox Live. This program helps punish those who violate the "Terms of Use" by cheating.

If you noticed the leader boards have started missing some of the players, it is due to the fact that their scores have been dropped to zero. All gamers who are caught with the Gamerscore Correction program will have their gamerscores reset, and the gamertags will be branded cheaters.

Once you have been branded a cheater by the Gamerscore Correction, you cannot appeal this decision. The reason for this no appeal decision is that you have to meet the correction requirements 100% before they drop your score to zero. Cheating gamers will have the opportunity to get achievements the correct way on new games. BUT they will be unable to get the achievements back that they cheated to get.

So have fun, and EARN your achievements. Because you will get caught for cheating!!

I'll never understand why people will cheat to get their gamerscore up.. In all honesty, the gamerscore is a useless achievement, and is only used for bragging rights.

Some of us gamers are pretty dumb =/

I've known this for a while, and I think is great. but I just wished MS would focus more on the dumbass players that make racists/dumb comments, in game cheaters, etc.. MS should have better control on their users reports.
