Do you love Pokemon? I mean, REALLY love pokemon? Do you own Diamond/Pearl and a DS lite to compete online? Think you have what it takes to become a gym leader? Then join the pwned.com Pokemon League!

As some of you may (or may not) know, Miz Calamity and myself, as well as two other lovely ladies from Pwned.com (Clov3r and Riotmonster) have worked to produce the pwned.com Pokemon League. Starting June 14th the battles begin! First, we will have a bracket style battle royale, pairing trainers with the winners making their way to the top brackets. The top players in the tournament will be awarded either gym leader or elite status, with the ability to create their own gyms and badges to award challenging players. Battle your team against your peers, see how high you can climb the brackets, and strive to be awarded leader status!

If you want to be involved, please go to http://www.pwned.com/pokemonleague/ and view all the rules and details. If it sounds like something you want to be apart of, go ahead and leave your DS friend code with us and tell us you're interested, we'll add you to the player list! Cut off for sign ups is 48 hours before the first battles start. And don't worry... if you don't make gym leader status through the initial tournament there is always a chance in the future to work your way up to gym leader status. And in the meantime, plenty of badges to earn! Below are a few links on EV training and general pokemon information in case you don't know where to start!

I don't know if I'll have time to train my Pokemon though, and I'm not really sure what EV training is about.

@ banjo. I was in the same boat a few months ago. haha! I will add some links to the article for EV training and general information. If it sounds fun, sign up anyways! Even if you place last, at least you have the experience of it, and can challenge the gym leaders better.
