Anarchy In the UK

Here I am (dun-un dun dun-un), to rock you like a hurricane. The name is Navie, and I'm broadcasting live from the UK! Don't let the accent you're hearing in your head at you read this fool you, I am an American bird through and through! I found myself in the UK after meeting, seducing, and marrying my husband Mark, a Brit I got to know (well) through my guild in World of Warcraft two years ago! You heard right, I married someone I met in WOW. Originally, I am from Ohio in the USA.

Aside from being a professional wanderer I am, as you could probably figure out, a gamer. Like many of the girls here, I've gamed since I could walk, starting with the NES and working my way up. I have greatest job in the world, I get paid to play my Nintendo DS seven hours a day... too bad that mysterious headset I have on whilst playing keeps cold calling rude people I'm supposed to try to sell insurance to *rolls eyes*.

I am a huge fan of the MMORPG genre and have played the following titles: Ultima Online, Anarchy Online, Everquest 1, Dark Age of Camelot, Star Wars Galaxies, Everquest 2, Guild Wars, World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy Online, and Vanguard: Saga of Heroes. I am eagerly awaiting the release of Age of Conan as well. My favorite games of all time include: Super Metroid, Super Mario Brothers, Zelda: Ocarina of Time, TES4: Oblivion, and Guitar Hero 3. I don't play many FPSs, and when it comes to competitive play in that genre I am a complete Johnny-No-Skills, mostly due to the fact I've spent the vast majority of my gaming time on RPGs. As a GameGirl writer, you can expect lots of news and articles on Nintendo DS games and MMORPGs from me, as well as coverage of any and all UK gaming events I can make it to!

I will be writing a weekly article entitled, "Worth Your Simoleons." It will be a look at games, dvds, game memorabilia, and accessories that may, or may not be, worth your hard earned gaming budget.

Besides gaming, here are seven things about me you probably didn't need to know:

1. Another hobby of mine is juggling, both contact and 3-ball
2. I love writing
3. I have an 8 bit Mario mushroom tattooed on my arse
4. I am majoring in psychology
5. I have, in total, 15 piercings
6. I am a huge fan of nerdy movies and TV, and I love Star Wars, Grandma's Boy, and Doctor Who
7. I can beat Dragonforce...on medium haha.

When I quit wow, I had a level 60 Druid (pre expansion) that was almost full teir 1 and 2 epics. She was my only toon. Aliiance on Archimonde. I gave her away to the guild upon quitting.

Hey Hey, welcome, its an awesome excellent positive great magnificent idea that you joined gamegirls, i have been visiting this page since january (but i havent checked itfor the last month, or visit pwned, is because lot of pressure at school and suck all of my time).
but i will try to be more active, i know that you have a great writing skill, i bet that your articles will be great, keep up the good work.
