Cheap Gamer Sig

Being a gamer can be expensive especially with todays prices. Which is why many gamers choose to wait until games drop price. Whether you own a Xbox 360 or a PS2, you can always find something good to play for a good price.

Although Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (GRAW) has been out for quite a while now. It is still a great game, and at only $9.99 for a used copy at GameStop (10% more off to those with the Edge Card). The game is a great addition to the Xbox 360 collection.

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter is a great 1st person shooter that takes place in the year 2013. You play as Captain Scott Mitchell. Captain Mitchell has three teammates from the elite Ghost forces (a new breed of soldier that has the ability to see first and strike lethally). You have various missions throughout the campaign. But the main objectives you need to do are:

1. Stop the Nicaraguan Rebel forces from collecting and selling the U.S. militaries state of the art hardware. 2. Rescue the U.S. President who has been captured by a power hungry Mexican General. 3. Bring down the power hungry Mexican General

Although you cannot drive vehicles, you can command them just as you would your teammates, by telling them where to go and when to fire. You also have the ability to save the soldiers if they are hit. They are put on a timer that begins its countdown, and as long as you get to them before the timer expires you can save him. One of my favorite features is the amount of control you have over your character. You can kneel, stand, lay down, lay flat against a wall, or side up to a corner and peak around. Its all up to you. There are a wide variety of weapons to choose from. Sniper rifles, scopes, grenade launchers, and dont forget about the old fashioned rifle.

Online is a whole other ball game. Create a player and play online or play in the co-op story mode. The details online are just as impressive as the campaign. You can have up to 16 players online. There are various multiplayer levels such as Deathmatch and Capture the Flag. My favorite online part is the ability to have up to 16 player accomplishing the co-op multiplayer objectives. For all who love the 1st person shooter genre, its a must have!!

But dont take my word for it. Check it out!!

Great article. I've never played GRAW, because it just never seemed like my kind of game, but great article none-the-less. =)

I hope you all are cool with Britini, as I don't see her name by the side anymore :/

I have never played the advanced warfighter series, but I have played Ghost Recon 2. Now that this game has become cheap I may pick this up.

Great first article LadyLuck!

@Fade2Vanish: Brit is my friend (known her before GameGirl) and all of us are still really cool with her. She left to pursue other careers in the gaming field so we wish nothing but the best for her.

Welcome welcome! So glad to have you!
