Banjo Kazooie jumps on the April Fools bandwagon.

So if you are like me you have been wondering what plot will be for the much anticipated new Banjo Kazooie game. Well the good folks at Rare are finally spilling the beans, well sorta of. They posted 5 possible plots, and only one is the real deal. Here are the 'Rumours". Let me know which one you like!

Rumour One: Banjo and Grunty team up against a new threat, falling in love in the process. Sexy post-transformation Grunty makes a return and proves irresistible to our heroic bear, much to Kazooies disgust. Can the mismatched trio defeat their fire-breathing foe?

Rumour Two: Kazooie is abducted by aliens and Banjo heads out to search the cosmos. Partway through his low-gravity exploits, he discovers whos taken her... and its a familiar face from the Rare archives who has been turned to the green side by Grunty.

Rumour Three: Banjo and Kazooie travel back through time in pursuit of the witchs giant T.I.T. Grunty drives her Time Interfering Truck back to before the bear and bird met. The duo must reintroduce themselves and relearn everything they know in a completely new way!

Rumour Four: Banjo comes out of retirement to stop his home being redeveloped into tower blocks and malls. To end the struggle, a capricious higher power engineers a bear/witch showdown through worlds of the imagination  with Spiral Mountains ownership deeds going to the victor.

Rumour Five: War comes to Spiral Mountain, and Banjo becomes a reluctant leader. Ever seen a Jinjo Tank? Or Gruntys Grappling Grenadier Grunts? You will when you take on our innovative RTS-platformer hybrid campaign.


Personally I like the 5th one, I'd like a little RTS with my Platformer RPG, wouldn't you? But I think number 4 is likely to be the plot. Thoughts?

Plot one seems well.. Uhh.. O_O

Any game that involves a guy from Earth going into space to save a girl would seem a little too much like SMG. Besides, Spiral Mountain needs to stay in the game.

I don't like Plot 3, wasn't there a movie like this?

I have to agree with you, #4 looks like a winner. It seems like a great plot. =)

Plot 5 is aaaLINKS OMITTED. *breath* ..ooommmeee. ^_^ Jinjo tanks ftw!

 

i think its either #3 or 4
they both seem to keep with the overall themes of the previous games
i personally like #3 the best because i want to know how they met and the story behind that
and i wouldnt put it past the makers to use yet again another anagram in the game
so T.I.T doesnt seem to farfetched for the game
but no marrer what they do im sure it will be amazing

 

A RTS game from RARE would be surreal, especially if it were a Banjo-Kazooie game. The first plot reminds of Super Mario RPG's plot too an extent. 2,3 and 4 seem like a plausible route, especially if you roll those three into one idea and that sounds like a RARE game.

 

I think #3 or #4 is the likeliest. I'm leaning towards #3 because that would be so Rare. Think about it- it's the same thing they did w/ Conker: Live and Reloaded. Yeah, I think #3. It'd also be a great excuse to bring out the old levels in a new way..
