Rumors:

-According to Gaming Today there is a 50 cent sequel in the works. Yes, that's right, apparently I wasn't the only one who saw 50 cent: Bulletproof and thought to myself, now there's the next big gaming franchise, better watch out Halo, and Mario....To see more read the latest issue of EGM.

-A new Sonic game may also be in the works according to ComputerandVideogames.com. So many screen shots were leaked that it is now being confirmed as Sonic Unleashed.

The Buzz:

-A new site called MissBimbo.com is causing quite a bit of drama in the gaming world. It's a game where you become a socialite, date famous hotties, get a super cool job to pay for your growing addiction to the highest fashion, and of course, dabble in plastic surgery.

Announcements:

-Ubisoft has officially gone Tom Clancy! And with that a new Tom Clancy MMO is on the way. It is reported that the game will cost over 50 million dollars to make. And for that much money I'm expecting something amazing, but anything with Tom Clancy attached usually is. Development has not started yet so it could be a while before we see anything from this ambitious project. Via arstechnica.com

-Rockband for the Wii has been dated for June 22, 2008. Hopefully Rockband for the Wii will pick up the slack Guitar Hero Wii left behind.

Dark Sector FTW!!!

sweet, a Tom Clancy MMO. that's exciting.

Haha, love that pic.

50 million to make an MMO? Dang, that's a lot of puchinko

that new sonic looks pretty awesome!

The problem is that Sonic may be over the hill, and he's in dire need of an overhaul. I'm tired of this, "Shadow" crap that they're shoving down our throats as well. Not to mention all of those characters they "flushed out" in Sonic X. In fact, can we completely forget that show?

What about Chili Dogs?!

Either way, great article, and catchy name!

ninja gaiden and crisis core are the best games in the list ...and W00t for 50...NOT.

im so glad you did this
im looking forward to it every week
this is for sure very useful!!

THANKS NIKOLE

The new sonic game looks really good, I think the whole 2.5d thing could work greatly; I would love it if they could do a remake of a few classic sonic levels as un-lockable. I would love to play an updated version the Marble Zone.

As for the games released this week, not much of interest to me, I stopped liking Final Fantasy a long time ago, suppose I can save some money and keep focusing on Lost Odyssey for now.

Finally I would like to ask who the hell bought the original 50 cent game!!!!!

I want to second Quakemon in saying that this is a great idea. Its a good way to talk about what is going on in gaming without forcing 30 huge articles down our throats. Can't wait for more! good work.

i agree so i third it Nikole ...caught you on the stream.tv on the game show last night you guys are great :}

This is such a great idea Nikole! Thank you, now I can get my weekly geek fix from you. :)
