Ready for some Mario Kart Wii?!

Mario Kart for the Wii's release date was finally announced and I am in for a busy week of April 27th. In fact, I should just plan on taking that whole week off seeing that that is the same week as GTA 4!! Holy crap Nintendo, are you trying to kill me? This is truly going to put my Nintendo fangirl-ism to the test. But seriously, have you even heard everything about this game?

Mario Kart Wii will come packaged with Wii Wheel, but if that's not your style, do not worry, Mario Kart Wii's controls are compatible with the Wiimote with or without the Wii Wheel, Wiimote with Nunchuck, Classic controller or even the GameCube controller. The game features 32 courses, 16 new and 16 classic courses, the ability to play with up to 11 other racers online, 10 battle arena's, the option to race as your virtual Mii or, for the first time ever, the choice between racing with go-karts or motorbikes.

If that wasn't enough, Mario Kart Wii will also be launching with a new Wii Channel appropriately called the Mario Kart Wii Channel, which will build a whole community of racers and will also allow you to compete in tournaments, check ranking, see when your friends are online and download ghost data.

I love the Mario Kart series and this one is yet another I will have to own and I think yet again, Nintendo has scored another big hit for the Wii.

Heh, Mario Kart Wii is going to be awesome! I can't wait to play it. Being able to play online will be a great bonus, plus I'm glad Nintendo is giving us a ranking system. This is looking to be a good year for Nintendo.

Once again, if I could only find a wii, I would get this game as well as SSBB. I loved all the Mario Kart games. Damn Nintendo!

i loooooove mario kart! it was one of the 1st games that actually got me into video games when i was little...i used to play it on the 64 when i was at my babysitters house. this and SSB. mario kart for the wii and brawl are seriously starting to get me into want to buy a wii...

looks like it'll be good. I kind of wish that they would go back to using actual go-karts though.

Yeah you do use go-karts just not like the ones in the first game or even the second. I can't wait for this to come out. I am the best pure Mario Kart racer there is! We should all have a blast literally!
