My Top 6 Favorite Flash Games

Feb. 11 8:57 AM by Oh_Snap

Hi everyone! Sorry for the lack of updates on my part. In between studying for midterms, writing essays and celebrating my birthday (21!) I haven't had any time to write. Or do much of anything, for that matter.

But anyway, I thought I'd make a list of my top 6 favorite flash games. A lot of people don't consider flash games to be actual video games and I admit, there are a lot of boring ones out there. But they can be an entertaining time killer if you know what to look for!

Number 6: Paint Ball

Paint Ball

Despite what you're probably thinking of, Paint Ball isn't a shooting game. Basically, you have a ball on one end of the screen, and a red rectangle on the other end. Your goal is to draw lines on the screen to get the ball to the rectangle. There are other lines already drawn on the screen that you'll have to get around. This game is highly addictive, one time I played it for around an hour. It's seemingly endless because there are a ton of levels.

Number 5: Bubble Bees

Bubble Bees

On the flip side, the title here describes this game perfectly. Bubble Bees! This is a very relaxing, but very fun game. You click and drag your mouse over a bee to form a bubble around it, and you get points for doing it. Sometimes a red bee will fly out for bonus points, or a clock which you should catch so you don't run out of time. I believe you also get extra time if you catch two bees in one bubble.

To tell the truth, I like all the Orisinal flash games, so it was hard to pick just one. But I felt that this one was the best on the site, so that's why I chose it.

Number 4: Line Game

Line Game

This game is extremely frustrating, but in a good way. You can use either your mouse or your arrow keys to get your line through the path, without touching the red walls or circles. Personally, I prefer using the mouse just because I find it easier. But even if you use the mouse, it's still pretty challenging...I haven't beaten all the levels yet.

Number 3: Grow Cube

Grow Cube

Grow Cube is such a cute game, and it's also pretty challenging. You get ten items, and you have to click on them to put them out on your cube. As you go along putting new objects out, the old objects that you already had out "level up" and transform. You have to put each object out in the right order, otherwise the cube will be incomplete at the end. There are other versions of Grow Cube out there, but the original is my favorite.

Number 2: N - The Way Of The Ninja

Way of the Ninja

This game actually feels like a video game. You have a little ninja guy, and you have to get him through an obstacle course. There are things you have to avoid, like bombs, lasers, tracking devices that shock you, ect. You also have to be careful not to fall from too high up, otherwise you'll die when you hit the ground. The object of the game is to get the door to the next level open, and then get out the door before you die or before time runs out. Those little yellow dots you see in the picture give you more time.

If you're going to play The Way of the Ninja, I suggest you download it. There's less lag, and you can also save the levels you unlocked and come back to play them later.

Number 1: Mystery of Time and Space.

MOTAS

Without a doubt, this is my favorite flash game of all time. It's amazing. If you're a fan of logic games and you haven't played MOTAS yet, you should definitely check it out.

To sum up the plot a little: your character wakes up in a locked room by himself (or herself). He lost his memory, so he has no idea how he got in there in the first place, and he wants to get out. So basically it's your job to get out of the room and on to the next level. All the levels are pretty much like that, but they get increasingly more difficult.

The only drawback about MOTAS is that as of now there is no conclusion to the game. But they're always adding new levels, I think there are around 19 now? Even though the ending isn't out yet, it's still a great game and it's well worth the time spent playing it!

If you're interested in playing any of these games, I have the links listed below.
