The Holidays...

As everyone knows, Thanksgiving is only a day and a half away. Following that is the most dreaded day for anyone who works at any retail business...Black Friday. Unfortunately for me I have to work at one of my jobs EARLY in the morning. Anyway so I basically wanted to give a heads up to those potential shoppers who will be making the trip to camp out in the parking lot of the store and wait till they open right at the crack of dawn.

First off, in preparation for this journey you should ALWAYS get a list of things that the person you will be getting gifts for because the worse thing to do is try and actually browse and shop while at a major retailer...think of bumper to bumper traffic but replace the cars with people with shopping carts :].

Second thing you MUST do is check online for a list of the 2-day sales that the major retailers will be having. Of course for us gamers that means checking out any sale for the games that we have been waiting to get. (I know that I will be looking around during that time too).

Lastly, and this one is fail safe, as a gift get a gift card. That is the EASIEST thing to get for someone so that they can go shop for things for themselves and you won't have to deal with the "I already have that" or "I didn't want that"

So for any parent or boyfriend/girlfriend of a gamer the perfect gift is a gift card!!! Especially to EB Games/Gamestop, Circuit City and/or Best Buy. That will be the ultimate present and will be greatly appreciated!! Plus it DEFINITELY takes the stress off you because with all the new games that have been coming out its so hard to decide what they would want.

Now off of the non-shopping topic (sort of) a game I have been waiting for comes out tomorrow...Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings for the Nintendo DS comes out!!!! OMFG I am so freaking excited beyond belief. There are just so many good games coming out for the DS I am just jumping for joy. So for all you Nintendo DS haters that say it doesn't have any good games...pick up a Nintendo Power magazine..read it and then kiss my butt!! One of the games I am looking forward to is Mario Party DS (which also arrives tomorrow) and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Rings of Fate comes out for the DS in 2008. There are just so many good games coming out I just can't help but get this way :]. I will put up a list of all the games coming out for the rest of this year and the ones we will be expecting for the new year. So check back to hear some thoughts from us girls on gifts for the holiday season!!!

Lol I can't wait for black friday I allready have plans ready to get there early with my mother lol.

Having been a veteran of several GameStop Black Fridays, I can attest that they are HELL. Clueless customers by the hundreds, half not knowing what they want and the other half wanting what we didn't have.
