So...sorry I disappeared for..let me think..forever! lol But yea I FINALLY got my 360 a couple weeks ago when Halo 3 came out...of course got the Halo 3 Edition and it is teh sex! I am so excited to play all these games that I haven't been able to play because I have been LAME and hadn't bought my 360 until now :/ yea..I know I'm horrible lol

As far as gaming goes I have been trying to catch up to my old hours of playing--Which was almost 40 hours a week! Insane..but lately I have been playing ALOT of games on my DS. Including Brain Age and Big Brain Academy, we recently got DS games for retail and rental at the Blockbuster I work at, and thats all I've been doing from 9:30 pm till our store closes at midnight lol. Let me tell you those games actually work your mind--so for all those HATERS who say video games are useless and a waste of time you can kiss my a$$ :]--the games on there are meant specifically to tone skills to keep your mind working constantly. So if you haven't tried it yet you should!!

Now as far as competitive gaming goes---the season is over for me :]. Yea..kinda sad to see it end but hey next year is Halo 3 so I bid a sad farewell to competitive gaming on Halo 2 and welcome the fresh start on Halo 3. For those who are reading this and play Halo 3 PLEASE ADD ME!! I am trying to tone up my skills for next season so I would appreciate it! Also at some point I will upload LOTS of pictures of my new game set-up and my gaming shrine :].

But those are the updates in this craziness of mine...yea..I will be posting up some news within the next week about the new Legend of Zelda: Phantom of the Hourglass for DS so keep checking back!!

congrats on the acquisition , btw if you want to roll co-op on legendary let me know...apparently I got the game so late (like 7 days after launch) that all my friends beaten legendary and I can't find any allies ...lame.

Here's my question for the week. Do any of you own a PS3? I want to try playing against a professional gamer and see if I can pick up some of the skills that set y'all apart from us normals. I could try finding some male professional gamers (not so hard, since they all claim to be one), but I find getting insulted, sworn at and hate speeched in a woman's voice is just more pleasant.

I am facing the same issue! Apparently, whenyou buy Halo 3 7 days after it is released, you find yourself out of luck with the Legendary co-op. Count me in for some co-op action and the occasional multiplayer too Viva and Miz Calamity(I warn you that I kind of suck at multiplayer or maybe I just don't play often enough). My GC tag is the same as the name I use here.

I don't have a PS3 yet I do plan on buying one at some point BUT I just haven't seen many games spark my interest. There is one called Folk Lore that I think seems interesting but other than that yea...but I will get back to you on that one JoeSFO

I haven't beaten it on Legendary myself. I played the single player campaign only on Heroic.

As for Folklore. It is really interesting. The mechanics behind using the sixaxis motion sensor to yank the souls out of the Folks' bodies is just a blast and the general art concept is quite unique too.

I haven't beaten on legendary either. All my friends stayed up all night the night it came out and played through on legendary, but I had class the next day so I had to go bed after a couple hours. If you want to add me I'm UnsounderGnome, just like on here. I can show people all the skulls and terminals too.
